Al-Laṭīf in the Quran
لَّا تُدۡرِكُهُ ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرُ وَهُوَ يُدۡرِكُ ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرَۖ وَهُوَ ٱللَّطِيفُ ٱلۡخَبِيرُ ﴿١٠٣﴾
La tudrikuhu alabsaru wahuwa yudriku alabsara wahuwa allateefu alkhabeeru
Vision perceives Him not, but He perceives [all] vision; and He is the Subtle, the Acquainted
Calling upon Allah by this name
Allah says: "And to Allah belong the best names, so invoke Him by them. And leave [the company of] those who practice deviation concerning His names. They will be recompensed for what they have been doing" (Quran 7:180). In supplication you call upon Allah by the name that suits your need. For example: Yā Laṭīf.
