Fasting in Ramadan

Fasting Ramadan is one of the five pillars of Islam. The fast runs from dawn (Fajr, imsak) until sunset (Maghrib): no food, drink or marital relations. Suhoor is eaten before dawn and the fast is broken at iftar, by the Sunnah with dates or water. The Ramadan guide and the 30 juz help you plan the month.
