Tawakkul: quotes about trusting Allah
Tawakkul means doing your part and leaving the result to Allah, with a calm heart.
From the Quran
وَيَرۡزُقۡهُ مِنۡ حَيۡثُ لَا يَحۡتَسِبُۚ وَمَن يَتَوَكَّلۡ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَسۡبُهُۥٓۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بَٰلِغُ أَمۡرِهِۦۚ قَدۡ جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ لِكُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدۡرٗا ﴿٣﴾
Wayarzuqhu min haythu la yahtasibu waman yatawakkal ʿala Allahi fahuwa hasbuhu inna Allaha balighu amrihi qad jaʿala Allahu likulli shayin qadran
And will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah will accomplish His purpose. Allah has already set for everything a [decreed] extent
Quran 65:3 · Surah At-Talaq
فَبِمَا رَحۡمَةٖ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ لِنتَ لَهُمۡۖ وَلَوۡ كُنتَ فَظًّا غَلِيظَ ٱلۡقَلۡبِ لَٱنفَضُّواْ مِنۡ حَوۡلِكَۖ فَٱعۡفُ عَنۡهُمۡ وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لَهُمۡ وَشَاوِرۡهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَمۡرِۖ فَإِذَا عَزَمۡتَ فَتَوَكَّلۡ عَلَى ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُتَوَكِّلِينَ ﴿١٥٩﴾
Fabima rahmatin mina Allahi linta lahum walaw kunta faththan ghaleetha alqalbi lainfaddoo min hawlika faoʿfu ʿanhum waistaghfir lahum washawirhum fee alamri faitha ʿazamta fatawakkal ʿala Allahi inna Allaha yuhibbu almutawakkileena
So by mercy from Allah, [O Muhammad], you were lenient with them. And if you had been rude [in speech] and harsh in heart, they would have disbanded from about you. So pardon them and ask forgiveness for them and consult them in the matter. And when you have decided, then rely upon Allah. Indeed, Allah loves those who rely [upon Him]
Quran 3:159 · Surah Al-Imran
ٱلَّذِينَ قَالَ لَهُمُ ٱلنَّاسُ إِنَّ ٱلنَّاسَ قَدۡ جَمَعُواْ لَكُمۡ فَٱخۡشَوۡهُمۡ فَزَادَهُمۡ إِيمَٰنٗا وَقَالُواْ حَسۡبُنَا ٱللَّهُ وَنِعۡمَ ٱلۡوَكِيلُ ﴿١٧٣﴾
Allatheena qala lahumu alnnasu inna alnnasa qad jamaʿoo lakum faikhshawhum fazadahum eemanan waqaloo hasbuna Allahu waniʿma alwakeelu
Those to whom hypocrites said, "Indeed, the people have gathered against you, so fear them." But it [merely] increased them in faith, and they said, "Sufficient for us is Allah, and [He is] the best Disposer of affairs
Quran 3:173 · Surah Al-Imran
قُل لَّن يُصِيبَنَآ إِلَّا مَا كَتَبَ ٱللَّهُ لَنَا هُوَ مَوۡلَىٰنَاۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ ﴿٥١﴾
Qul lan yuseebana illa ma kataba Allahu lana huwa mawlana waʿala Allahi falyatawakkali almuminoona
Say, "Never will we be struck except by what Allah has decreed for us; He is our protector." And upon Allah let the believers rely

From the hadith
If you were to rely upon Allah as He should be relied upon, He would provide for you as He provides for the birds: they go out hungry in the morning and return full in the evening.

A man asked: Shall I tie my camel and rely on Allah, or leave it untied and rely on Allah? He said: Tie it and rely on Allah.

HasbunAllahu wa ni'mal-wakil: Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.

Worrying doesn't change the qadr. Dua does.
