Surah Al-Kafirun

Al-Kafirun is a clear declaration of faith: "For you is your religion, and for me is my religion." The Prophet ﷺ recited it together with Surah al-Ikhlas in the two units before the dawn prayer (Muslim).

Surah Al-Kafirun in Arabic and English
بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
قُلۡ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ ﴿١﴾
Qul ya ayyuha alkafiroona
Say, "O disbelievers
لَآ أَعۡبُدُ مَا تَعۡبُدُونَ ﴿٢﴾
La aʿbudu ma taʿbudoona
I do not worship what you worship
وَلَآ أَنتُمۡ عَٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعۡبُدُ ﴿٣﴾
Wala antum ʿabidoona ma aʿbudu
Nor are you worshippers of what I worship
وَلَآ أَنَا۠ عَابِدٞ مَّا عَبَدتُّمۡ ﴿٤﴾
Wala ana ʿabidun ma ʿabadtum
Nor will I be a worshipper of what you worship
وَلَآ أَنتُمۡ عَٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعۡبُدُ ﴿٥﴾
Wala antum ʿabidoona ma aʿbudu
Nor will you be worshippers of what I worship
لَكُمۡ دِينُكُمۡ وَلِيَ دِينِ ﴿٦﴾
Lakum deenukum waliya deeni
For you is your religion, and for me is my religion
