Surah An-Nas

An-Nas is the last surah of the Quran. With it one seeks refuge in Allah, the Lord of mankind, from the whisperer who withdraws. Together with al-Falaq and al-Ikhlas it is part of the morning and evening athkar.

Surah An-Nas in Arabic and English
بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
قُلۡ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلنَّاسِ ﴿١﴾
Qul aʿoothu birabbi alnnasi
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind
مَلِكِ ٱلنَّاسِ ﴿٢﴾
Maliki alnnasi
The Sovereign of mankind
إِلَٰهِ ٱلنَّاسِ ﴿٣﴾
Ilahi alnnasi
The God of mankind
مِن شَرِّ ٱلۡوَسۡوَاسِ ٱلۡخَنَّاسِ ﴿٤﴾
Min sharri alwaswasi alkhannasi
From the evil of the retreating whisperer
ٱلَّذِي يُوَسۡوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ ٱلنَّاسِ ﴿٥﴾
Allathee yuwaswisu fee sudoori alnnasi
Who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind
مِنَ ٱلۡجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ ﴿٦﴾
Mina aljinnati wa alnnasm
From among the jinn and mankind
