The first ten days of Dhul Hijjah
The first ten days of Dhul Hijjah are the best days of the year for good deeds. Remind your friends so nobody lets them pass like ordinary days.
There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days.

What to do
- Say takbir, tahmid and tahlil often (Ahmad).
- Fast, especially the Day of Arafah.
- Give sadaqah and read the Quran.
- Those who will offer a sacrifice should not cut their hair or nails from the 1st of Dhul Hijjah (Sahih Muslim).
