Salawat: sending blessings on the Prophet ﷺ
Every time you send blessings on the Prophet ﷺ once, Allah sends blessings on you ten times.
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَمَلَـٰٓئِكَتَهُۥ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِيِّۚ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ صَلُّواْ عَلَيۡهِ وَسَلِّمُواْ تَسۡلِيمًا ﴿٥٦﴾
Inna Allaha wamalaikatahu yusalloona ʿala alnnabiyyi ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo salloo ʿalayhi wasallimoo tasleeman
Indeed, Allah confers blessing upon the Prophet, and His angels [ask Him to do so]. O you who have believed, ask [Allah to confer] blessing upon him and ask [Allah to grant him] peace
Quran 33:56 · Surah Al-Ahzab
Whoever sends blessings upon me once, Allah sends blessings upon him ten times.

Increase your sending of blessings upon me on Friday, for your blessings are presented to me.

The best wording: as-Salat al-Ibrahimiyyah
This is the salawat the Prophet ﷺ taught his companions, which we say in the tashahhud of every prayer (al-Bukhari, Muslim):
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ
Allahumma salli ala Muhammadin wa ala ali Muhammad, kama sallayta ala Ibrahima wa ala ali Ibrahim, innaka hamidun majid
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You sent blessings upon Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. You are Praiseworthy, Glorious.
The short form is: Allahumma salli ala Muhammad, or sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

- Say it every time you hear or write his name.
- Pick a number, for example 100 a day, with a counter.
